How do I change the display name of emails on "New Outlook"?

I'm on my Apple laptop. I tried to upload a picture of the Registry key; but somehow, I don't think it uploaded.

Did you find the Registry key with your email?

If you found it, look on the left PANE and you'll see a VALUE "Friendly Name' -double click on the key and edit the name.

THIS only applies to Outlook NEW, not Outlook CLASSIC.

I did find the registry key for one of my mail accounts (the one for gmail, not the one for icloud). I did change the FriendlyName for it, but sadly it did not change the display name for sending mails.

And for the iCloud Account there was no entry at all.

Sadly, the issue also exists for the iOS App, but not for the Mac App.

You should be able to change the name in which you see your email accounts by going to File-> Account Settings> Account Settings, double clicking the account in question, then changing the “Account name” field. Like Outlook for web, changing the name on Outlook new is not supported right now. Please do send feedback using the Help option to let Microsoft know your thoughts.

It is difficult without being able to change the name that recipients see who sent the emails with New Outlook. As it happens when we decided to change old to new Outlook my name was transferred so consequently when my husband sends an email it looks as though I have sent it. It cannot be rocket science to change this part of Outlook as I can see I am not the only one who has this problem.

Despite the passage of time and multiple Windows updates, this issue remains unresolved.

The inability to accurately display sender names renders the Windows Outlook application unusable for my professional needs. I have attempted to resolve this issue by testing with multiple email addresses and recipients, but the problem persists.

Given the lack of development and the continued presence of this critical bug, I have been forced to uninstall Windows Outlook. As Apple Mail is not available for the Windows operating system, I am seeking alternative email clients that offer a user experience comparable to Apple Mail and the previous, functional version of Windows Outlook.

I have briefly explored Spark Mail, but found its interface to be overly complex and cluttered.

People, can you suggest me alternative email app?

The feelings are mutual. One option would be BlueMail. I suggest installing it via the .exe file vs downloading from Microsoft Store. It seems to be a later version. Definitely not without its issues as well, but at least you can change the display name.
