How do I change the display name of emails on "New Outlook"?

I have multiple emails that are the same except for a slight change on the end (eg emailaddressone, emailaddresstwo) on New Outlook, I can't distinguish them. Is there a way to change the display name of email accounts and also change the order at which they show up in the list?

    Trying to help my mom..she has Outlook 2924 and can't change the display name.. when will update happen?

    If that’s true it’s disgusting and almost like blackmail to only make it work properly if you pay them money. That is such a simple thing and was set up to do so with the old version. Nowhere did it tell anyone that this would not be possible to do with the ‘new’ version.

    It appears so. However I've run across the issue where outlook classic is being redirected to Outlook new on a number of computers that are paying for 365. I've only been able to stop a handful of them from switching over.

    In this regard, Microsoft should take notes and either continue to support classic indefinitely, or update the "new" interface to work like or similar to the old.

    I've come to the conclusion that Microsoft doesn't want to offer a good email client free in Windows. They'll offer something crappy, and they know it, just to say Windows has email. It's a strategy to get everyone to subscribe to Office 365 for $$$.

    This thread is 3 years old, I wonder if Microsoft will ever add this feature to Outlook (new).
    I thought I would switch to the new Outlook, as I like the modern and simple interface but I am now considering reverting to the classic version.

    Yup and they have now taken away the option to use the old version so i'm not sending my morning unproductively looking for new e-mail options!! Not happy!!
