how to delete more than 10 contacts in outlook 365, how to delete more than 50 contacts in outlook 365

This is conceivable. I've been using Apple and iCloud for the last 15 years. For some time I wanted to check how to work on WIN 11. For mail and contacts, I chose Outlook in 365.

Something bad happened in the contact database and I had to delete them all to upload new ones. I had almost 3000 of them and now attention:

To do this, you need to delete them with 10 pcs. !

Then, to delete them from the deleted folder, you need to delete with 50 pcs.

It is unlikely that it lacks such basic features that have been present for a long time in google and iCloud.

Can anyone answer the question why this is so?

    Thats not correct.

Even if you synchronize, I have to delete 1 by 1 or max 10.

Why is it so difficult to allow delete on Microsoft outlook web or app?

Forcing us now to import contact and sync contact to mobile phone to create more mess is not an option.

Really annoying. Microsoft need to create a de duplication system. I’m switching to Zoho or at least gmail allows the removal and merging of duplicates. Outlook is way behind.

Is this a joke ? I tried to delete 3400 contacts with a lot of patient, 50 contacts per delete, then 10 contacts per delete.

This started because there is a problem with double and triple entry contacts.

Next day i logged in and the contacts where still there. Please fix this, it is extremelly dificult to use and very annoying.

Didn't work. Once I launched the New Outlook after completing all your steps on the Classic Outlook, all my previous duplicates were still there -- nearly 10,000 of them!

    SOLVED!!
Switch to classic view or app. Either by toggle switch in the top right corner, or by going to Help > Go to Classic Outlook.
Then open contacts tab on the left (Two people logo):

    1. Go to View tab
    2. Under the Current view section, click Change View and select "List"
    3. Under the Current view section, click View Settings
    4. Click the "Group By" button
    5. Change the "Group items by" to "none" (first in list)
    6. Click Ok > Ok
    7. Scroll to bottom and all your recently added contacts should be there.
    8. Click the first of the list, scroll down, Shift+Click the last on the list (to bulk highlight) (Alternatively bulk highlight as per usual practices, CTRL+ Click)
    9. Click home (top menu)
    10. Click Delete (main Tab Logo)

    Done!
