My account has been blocked for some reason.

When trying the:

Enter your phone number and we'll send you a security code We'll send a verification code in a text message. This helps us eliminate spam – we won't give out your number. The code will expire in about 10 minutes.

I keep getting: We cannot send a text message to this number.

Tried different mobile numbers, tried from different browsers and PCs Have tried forgetten password, but still keep getting my account blocked.

How do I get the code?

I see lots of other post about this, but none have worked for me.

    Hey man. My account was locked for a month and I was so frustrated. I live in Indonesia and all my number and my siblings number are rejected by Microsoft. Seems like Microsoft does semi ban for the country origin of the Microsoft account was from. Using number from overseas does fix it. Thank you so much man. And I encourage everyone try to do the same. I'm not going to use Microsoft account anymore because of this.

    Can you recover your account? I got the equals issue, and i have done to change my password but the account still locked. It was more than 2 days and i cannot access my working documents, one drive, outlook, and all microsoft products.

    Hallo i Just solved this same problem today, i use another country number, , if you have a friend from other country you can ask for helo by their number..

    Same problem. Didn't do any suspicious activity but my account was blocked, and message isn't being send to my number. This is really a bad experience of mine with Microsoft edge, never faced an issue like this in google chrome although I have used it for around 10-12 years.

    nao consigo desbloquar minha conta ja tentei diversos numeros de telefone a mensagem ea mesma, e ja vem acontecendo outros problemas pra mim, exemplo as vezes nao consigo resgatar premios na microsoft rewadrs, e quando eu fui resgatar um premio pediu gmail e depois numero de celular e quando eu fui por o numero, nao enviaram o codigo de verificaçao pra mim. microsoft por favor resolva isso logo eu preciso da minha conta
