MS Outlook signatures disappeared or missing after Office update

After a recent update the format for the signature creator and editor has changed. I have lost access to all my previous signatures and when I try and recreate a signature with the same name, I am advised it already exists and cannot be over written. How can I access or delete my old signatures?

    Bad update

    In our case there *were* signatures used for different email addresses and selected on a use case basis. Now post change there are multiple mail addresses appearing in the signature box BUT only one signature. The other signatures are their in the background (use ctrl+signatures from the Options|Mail to open the "roaming" folder.

    Outlook appears to have arbitrarily chosen one signature on one account (its wrong). All others will now have to be recreated.

    This is with IMAP not Outlook/365. So the Outlook team just broke everyone in this use case.

    Where is the new signature panel? I've got the old one only.

    Ok, I've found. The new window appears when the registry key disables the new roamming functionality...

    After I reenable it, it show's me the old window again.

    The old window does not saves the new and replies/forward option. Any time I've select any signature here it becomes (brak) - which means none, empty or whatever it stays in english.

    If you have tried the registry key trick disable it i.e set the registry key to 0 (or delete it) to re enable the new roaming functionality, then...

    1. Open the new (seemingly blank) signature panel and use the dropdown for "Email account" to select Signatures on this device

    1. Then your original signatures will appear - hurrah!!
    2. Pick one. > Select all > Copy
    3. Use the drop down to return to the mail account you want to use it with
    4. Choose New > Give it a name > Paste > OK
    5. Use the drop downs at the bottom to specify whether it should be used for new and/or replies & fwds

    Now you have a roaming signature associated with your account.

    1. Rinse and repeat for whatever account/sig permutations you have

    According to this article " These local signatures will continue to be available for use during email editing by selecting Message > Signatures, but the user won't be able to edit them unless they're associated with one of the user's existing email accounts. ".

    What I don't see is HOW to associate a signature with an email account. Am I missing something?
