Today ads started showing up at the top of my Outlook.com Inbox. They look like emails but I can't delete or block them. In the past ads did show up on the right had side and I could live with that but I don't want them at the top of my Inbox.
I want important emails at the top of my inbox not ads. And don't tell me that this is because I have a free account. My google email account is free and it puts all ads where they belong under a Promotions tab where I can ignore them.
How do I correct this?

2022-07-18T16:47:38+00:00 Woah, so I've put up with this deeply irritating practice for a while, with an ad per day appearing at the top of my Inbox which I just delete. I think the practice of putting the delete icon in a different place to the rest of emails is really sneaky.
Today the things have been reappearing every couple of hours. Now THAT really grinds my gears.

2022-07-18T11:25:45+00:00 You can delete it. But it comes right back. On mine, this usually occurs within a couple of hours. Ultimately, it's permanent if you can't get rid of it for more than a few hours. It's highly aggravating.
