outlook.live.com quick actions moved to far right of email and I can't move them back beside Sender/From and Subject.

My outlook.live.com quick actions moved to the far right of subject and received column and I can't move them back beside sender and subject. The quick actions appear on far right of email. I went to Mail - Customize actions -Quick actions. The template shows them on right but the screen narrative shows "Quick actions appear beside sender names and subject lines in your message list". Please help me get the quick actions back to between From (Sender Name) and Subject.

Thanks

I suspect the change has something to do with the new feature where the first item in your inbox occasionally now is an advertisement, placed there by Microsoft, where the Old Delete icon is where it used to be, only if the first item in your inbox is this Microsoft advertising Spam item!

My guess is that MS's Outlook developers are from a different culture working in another country. Different cultures have different views of how coding should be done and how responsive they should be to customer suggestions.

In this case some coder with no common sense made the change, there was no quality control from management, and our posts are going to some other department, far from the coders, where they go unread.

I agree and thought from the beginning that the change had something to do with the new "spam by Microsoft" entry at the top of the InBox. Is the company that desperate for revenue???? I have learned not to open the new spam e-mail or delete it: I just let it sit there and any new spam e-mails seem to overwrite the old...........what a game!

I have 365 Family and before that, Hotmail Plus (both are the paid versions), so I don't ever get Advertisements. My delete icon in the Quick Actions menu/feature is now always on the far-right after the change, never anywhere else. NOTE: I have the Preview Pane at the bottom (the Quick Actions are slightly different if you have Preview Pane on the right). But...you definitely may be on to something here; maybe it does have to do with the Advertising and they just made the change across the board, even for paid subscribers.
