outlook.live.com quick actions moved to far right of email and I can't move them back beside Sender/From and Subject.

My outlook.live.com quick actions moved to the far right of subject and received column and I can't move them back beside sender and subject. The quick actions appear on far right of email. I went to Mail - Customize actions -Quick actions. The template shows them on right but the screen narrative shows "Quick actions appear beside sender names and subject lines in your message list". Please help me get the quick actions back to between From (Sender Name) and Subject.

Thanks

I cannot believe how a company of this size and stature is NOT even willing to acknowledge and respond to all of our complaints. This change has absolutely no benefit to anyone using it. It is annoying, confusing, and completely unnecessary. Things were fine the way they were, but someone, with some title, in some department, decided they wanted to put their little stamp on something, and this is what we got. The old saying of "if it ain't broke---don't fix it" totally applies here. Who in their right mind could tell us why they think this was a good move? Changes are supposed to make things better---not worse, but the world we are living in now, we see how things are being shoved down our throats whether we like it or not.

Thank you for this comment, it's an excellent one. I have sent the link to it to the unfortunate support person who has been replying to my emails - I hope that she will pass it along to the 'engineers'. If any of us have in fact been communicating with Microsoft Support, perhaps we could all do that - pass the link along.

I've been silently following this post for a few days now, so I thought to voice my dissatisfaction as well.

I am not happy with the new location of the quick-actions, as it simply becomes hard to match the right email to the quick action (specially if you are using a screen with higher resolution than 1080p). What before was indeed a quick action, now requires an unnecessary extra amount of time to confirm that, in fact, your mouse is hovering above the email you want to apply the action to.

I am not saying some people are not happy with the new location. That is why all we ask for is a toggle to have the previous location back, or in the very least some acknowledgement from the Outlook team that the above is being considered.

I have sent my feedback through the OWA feedback form and I am doing so again through this reply.

I've sent feedback every week since the change occurred. I've also Tweeted about it. I haven't received a reply to my Tweet, but a few others here said they Tweeted and the reply asked them to submit Feedback. So...vicious circle, but at least we're trying. I feel like Tweets are better though because it's public. I wish it would go viral, then they'd have to do something about it.

What would be the best publications or journalists to send this story to? Surely someone like that would get a response from the company?
