outlook.live.com quick actions moved to far right of email and I can't move them back beside Sender/From and Subject.

My outlook.live.com quick actions moved to the far right of subject and received column and I can't move them back beside sender and subject. The quick actions appear on far right of email. I went to Mail - Customize actions -Quick actions. The template shows them on right but the screen narrative shows "Quick actions appear beside sender names and subject lines in your message list". Please help me get the quick actions back to between From (Sender Name) and Subject.

Thanks

I have given feedback about this as not happy that this change was made without me consenting to it.

I prefer the old way and want an option added where we the user can decide where we want the quick actions to be placed

    Truly terrible change...!

Make sure you submit feedback to MS

Select the "?" next to the settings icon and hit the feedback link right at the very bottom.

Hopefully they will at least give us an option to move the quick actions back!

+1 to what others are saying, I also left a negative feedback in OWA.

I never dedicated time in the past to participate in community posts but this UI change was the straw that broke the camel's back and made it necessary for me to echo the same dissatisfactions as everyone else here. At least give us customizability and options!

I logged in to this change a few days ago and thought it was a bug until I saw the buttons way over to the right just a few minutes ago, prompting me to search up this post. I know right? I didn't see it for a few days, it's almost as if important functions that we've been used to for years such as, I dunno, quick action buttons or something, shouldn't be placed that far off on the edge of the UI. The new placement is such a time-waster and makes finding and clicking on the right one like crossing a 10-lane highway! Better make sure the button you're hovering over is aligned to the right sender or subject! Hey, at least they had the courtesy to highlight the row! Oops, you pinned the message instead of flagging it because your mouse moved a bit to the left when you were double-checking the subject? Tough luck, at least you seem to be productive by modern standards, because more clicking and more time staring at that email equals more productivity right? geez....

And no, MS, I cannot simply install the desktop app on my institution's computer.

    Hi Brian,

I have experienced the same as others on this forum.

Today I have discovered they have now removed the "Pin" function from my inbox?

    They are complete cretins?

    What is going on?

    Kind regards,

    Stuart

Same for me! I use the quick actions very often and now it has become unusable anymore, as you need to scroll back and forth from left to right to really select the correct message!

Please change this back or give us an option to select the location ourselves... thank you
