Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
The day this happened to me, I was sure I must have done something to make it happen. I spent several hours on Google trying to figure out how to move the quick actions back to where they belong. Needless to say, I didn't find any answers. I find the new location very inconvenient. I keep my calendar pane up all the time, which now covers the quick action buttons. I have started using the right click on my mouse to do what I used to do with the quick actions.
Whoever moved this change to the user community clearly didn't give the user community any consideration when they moved it. Assuming MS received numerous requests to move the quick action items to their new location, why not give the users the option to place them in a spot that makes the most sense for them? Like adding/deleting/moving columns. Oh right . . . you can't do that in Outlook.com either.
