Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Hi, please change it back to where it was, or let us change it back with a setting option.
Thanks

My outlook.live.com quick actions moved to the far right of subject and received column and I can't move them back beside sender and subject. The quick actions appear on far right of email. I went to Mail - Customize actions -Quick actions. The template shows them on right but the screen narrative shows "Quick actions appear beside sender names and subject lines in your message list". Please help me get the quick actions back to between From (Sender Name) and Subject.
Thanks

That is one of the many reasons I hate Gmail. Changing to a configuration that is cumbersome just to be like them seems stupid.
I've been using Hotmail continuously since its introduction. Then it was needlessly changed from an AMAZING brand name to 'Outook.live.com'; trips off the tongue doesn't it!! I hope the consultants who came up with that got a few million!
It's struck me, over the years, that as the original programmers retire, 'new gen' programmers are keeping themselves in a salary and justifying their jobs by making pointless, unnecessary and disruptive changes. I just don't get it. It's NOT smart. PLEASE, at least, give us the option to revert the 'Quick Action' column back to where it used to be!!
I've spent more time, than I care to admit, trying to sort it out and even trying to find what the column's called!!
That's one of the main reasons I don't use GoogleMail who you've now copied!!! I have to admit that I haven't checked to see if it's possible to move THAT column in Gmail....MORE wasted time. :(
This change is really bad. I get around 400 emails per day and I need to go through deleting them either based on sender or subject, or flagging based on the same information. This makes it necessary for your eye to travel along the whole line of the email to make sure it is the right one etc. It also makes it much harder to scan down for flagged emails to see what to deal with next as your eye has to flick back and forth over the whole width of the page.
Just an appalling change and makes it very hard to use in the way I have grown accustomed to over the last 20 years. At least provide configurable columns so users can choose. This has just tripled the time I have to spend on email and made it harder on the eyes.
Please allow users to choose where the quick action buttons should appear. I use them constantly and it takes too much time to go to the far edge of the page to get to them.
Thank you!
