Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
I use Outlook 365 web version and this is very frustrating. In typical Microsoft fashion, they make changes to your workflow, fixing things that aren't broken and don't provide options. Make it a feature, call it a feature, and give us an option to put it on the left or right. Or better yet, make it a column like everything else and let us put it where ever we want. This is the same issue with teh side bar "quick access" function they added... I would rather have that screen space available and just click on the menu to access the other features.
I used the feedback option to say as much, in both cases.
For me, one of the biggest issues is I regularly use the cursor or highlight text that I am reading, which means jumping to the far edge of the page every time is a huge waste of time. This is where Gmail has always put those same buttons, but I much prefer the way Outlook used to put them, beside the sender name. Conservation of motion is everything when processing so many emails ever day.
The Office ecosystem is about productivity, please stop making my business life less productive with unrequest unannounced and unwanted changes.
