outlook.live.com quick actions moved to far right of email and I can't move them back beside Sender/From and Subject.

My outlook.live.com quick actions moved to the far right of subject and received column and I can't move them back beside sender and subject. The quick actions appear on far right of email. I went to Mail - Customize actions -Quick actions. The template shows them on right but the screen narrative shows "Quick actions appear beside sender names and subject lines in your message list". Please help me get the quick actions back to between From (Sender Name) and Subject.

    I thought I was losing my mind when I got to work this morning and encountered this. This is probably the most annoying and unnecessary change that I've ever seen them make, and I've been using Outlook.office for 5 years now. Fun fact: I was on Google for close to an hour trying to figure out how to fix what I thought I had broken before this thread popped up, and I was googling pretty much the same things. It's almost like it was reluctant to show me others were having the same issue lol.

    Boost this so that more people see it!

    Microsoft, do the decent thing and give us a choice for where we want the Quick Actions.

    Why in the [blank] would Microsoft move the Quick Action items to the right of the subject line rather than the left with no option to reposition them to their original location? They are much more difficult to use in this location and the chance of making a mistake selecting the action for a specific email is greater.

    Where were the Microsoft software testers? Rule Number One: Do not make software changes just for the sake of making changes.

    I know the IT guys and gals like to make changes to programs to improve them. Sometimes changes bring new functionality and features that take some getting used to, and we will have to adjust for the longer term benefit. Sometimes change is just plain STUPID, and seems to have zero redeeming value. This is that kind of change. C'mon Microsoft, read these comments and return Quick Actions to the left side, where it belongs.

    This is more annoying than when my supermarket moves/rearranges the aisles! When you have been using the same mouse/click action for 5+ years and they move it, it just takes longer and it is less reliable because it's too easy to delete the wrong message!!!!! Please, please give us the option of where to place the quick actions, or move them back where they belong!
