outlook.live.com quick actions moved to far right of email and I can't move them back beside Sender/From and Subject.

My outlook.live.com quick actions moved to the far right of subject and received column and I can't move them back beside sender and subject. The quick actions appear on far right of email. I went to Mail - Customize actions -Quick actions. The template shows them on right but the screen narrative shows "Quick actions appear beside sender names and subject lines in your message list". Please help me get the quick actions back to between From (Sender Name) and Subject.

Thanks

Hi. I'm Brian and I will do my best to help you.

This seems to be a UI change Microsoft is rolling out because I see it on some accounts but not on others. If you don't like it, send them feedback. Click the Help icon (question mark) and scroll to the bottom where you'll find a Feedback link.

The feedback link under the Help icon does not work, so this is unhelpful.

Wasted a lot of time this morning trying to fix something I thought I'd inadvertently changed, until I found this thread. Same issues as everyone else is having. Senseless change slows down work flow, and increases chance of errors. We should at least have the option to keep the old format. (Click-and-drag column headings to desired positions, would be great.)

I SENT FEEDBACK. Click the question mark at the top of your screen, scroll down to feedback, and tell the people who need to hear, directly!

Brian thanks for bringing this up

Terrible decision. This is totally inefficient. both time consuming and causes errors in deleting wrong email

why have quick action buttons if they are way over on the right?

Choose settings / mail/ customize actions and quick actions should be at top. Uncheck all quick actions and click save at the bootom. Did you click save after making the change? After the change, any pin or flag icons already set on a message should appear in the old location on that message but they will not be actionable (not clickable). The icons are only being displayed when you set the attribute like pin or flag. You have to use right click on the email message and choose the action you want from the context menu (.e.g. pin, flag, delete, move etc.). That's all I have ...
