outlook.live.com quick actions moved to far right of email and I can't move them back beside Sender/From and Subject.

My outlook.live.com quick actions moved to the far right of subject and received column and I can't move them back beside sender and subject. The quick actions appear on far right of email. I went to Mail - Customize actions -Quick actions. The template shows them on right but the screen narrative shows "Quick actions appear beside sender names and subject lines in your message list". Please help me get the quick actions back to between From (Sender Name) and Subject.

Thanks

What would be the best publications or journalists to send this story to? Surely someone like that would get a response from the company?

It's funny you mention that because I've wondered myself. I'm consistently Googling different strings of phrases to see if it's being reported *outside* of MS, but I can't find any evidence yet. Interestingly enough, people who's job it is to keep up on these things (non-MS people) do indeed peruse these forums so I'm surprised I haven't found anything official about it. And I'm just gobsmacked by the lack of ANY type of replies or responses from official MS staff in this thread so far. It's crazy. I have been a loyal MS customer/user (currently a MS 365 client) since dinosaurs roamed and this is the first time I've ever been truly disappointed in MS.

TWEET THIS at least once a day:

It's fascinating how @Microsoft support and developers @msdev ignore users in their @Outlook User Community Website. This tweet will be replied to by a bot and have no effect upon much of anything. Neither will direct feedback. #Microsoft #MicrosoftSupport #QuickActionButtons

I've sent feedback every week since the change occurred. I've also Tweeted about it. I haven't received a reply to my Tweet, but a few others here said they Tweeted and the reply asked them to submit Feedback. So...vicious circle, but at least we're trying. I feel like Tweets are better though because it's public. I wish it would go viral, then they'd have to do something about it.

I've been silently following this post for a few days now, so I thought to voice my dissatisfaction as well.

I am not happy with the new location of the quick-actions, as it simply becomes hard to match the right email to the quick action (specially if you are using a screen with higher resolution than 1080p). What before was indeed a quick action, now requires an unnecessary extra amount of time to confirm that, in fact, your mouse is hovering above the email you want to apply the action to.

I am not saying some people are not happy with the new location. That is why all we ask for is a toggle to have the previous location back, or in the very least some acknowledgement from the Outlook team that the above is being considered.

I have sent my feedback through the OWA feedback form and I am doing so again through this reply.
