My outlook.live.com quick actions moved to the far right of subject and received column and I can't move them back beside sender and subject. The quick actions appear on far right of email. I went to Mail - Customize actions -Quick actions. The template shows them on right but the screen narrative shows "Quick actions appear beside sender names and subject lines in your message list". Please help me get the quick actions back to between From (Sender Name) and Subject.
Thanks

Exactly!!
The question remains a simple one " what exactly have I gained with this change as the end-user?". My guess is nothing but more work on my part!
Actually, today I got another reply from the support person that I've been corresponding with the most:

| Thank you so much for contacting us again.

This is a recent update by our developers team and this cannot be changed for now. I suggest you post your feedback and this help our team to know if you are in favor of the change or not.

You just need to share your feedback to Outlook.com user voice page and after that it will be changed back to the same place where it was before.

***

I've had this message from her a couple of times before; note the last line - she is saying that if we share our feedback it will then be changed back. So there are some mixed messages here, she's giving hope, the other guy is saying 'no way'. I've got to assume that these people have been in touch with the actual engineers? But maybe not!

I'm hoping to get a reply sometime from the Globe and Mail tech reporter. I wrote to a few days ago. |
Sorry, misinterpreted what the agent said. lets hope some of these complaints make an impression on them, but not holding my breath.
"the recent changes are by design now and cannot be reversed"
****?? Since when can't they be reversed? I'm no software engineer, but I call total B.S. on that! How arrogant.
At least Microsoft responded directly to you. That's the first time I've seen anyone say anything more than to file a complaint.
That reply came from a Support Agent, not someone on the outlook.com team.
It means that users cannot reverse the change.
It does not mean that the outlook team won't respond to feedback and roll back the change.
It also doesn't mean that they will.
