Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
That just seems to be very unprofessional!

My outlook.live.com quick actions moved to the far right of subject and received column and I can't move them back beside sender and subject. The quick actions appear on far right of email. I went to Mail - Customize actions -Quick actions. The template shows them on right but the screen narrative shows "Quick actions appear beside sender names and subject lines in your message list". Please help me get the quick actions back to between From (Sender Name) and Subject.
Thanks

Same here, the up/down arrows only show with the reading pane off. However a few days ago even with the reading pane off they were not there, then appeared one day. It appears there isn't much user interface testing going on for this division of MS, they just randomly turn things on/off and don't seem to care what customers think.
My up/down arrows were gone but are now back!
Nice! I'm guessing you have Reading Pane turned off....? That's the only way I get the up/down arrows. If I have reading pane turned on (either viewing at the bottom or right), the arrows don't show up.

I had an old screenshot lying around. You can see that now the old menu bar was replaced by a ribbon.
It seems they simply forgot (or didn't want) to add the up/down arrows to the new ribbon.
Ctrl+"," or Ctrl+"." still retains the function of the old up/down arrows.
This is super helpful; thank you! The new ribbon is indeed customizable, but I checked and the up/down arrows aren't an option that can be added (at least for me).
