outlook.live.com quick actions moved to far right of email and I can't move them back beside Sender/From and Subject.

My outlook.live.com quick actions moved to the far right of subject and received column and I can't move them back beside sender and subject. The quick actions appear on far right of email. I went to Mail - Customize actions -Quick actions. The template shows them on right but the screen narrative shows "Quick actions appear beside sender names and subject lines in your message list". Please help me get the quick actions back to between From (Sender Name) and Subject.

Thanks

I have also left feedback for this terrible decision, What the hell where they thinking? also the up/down arrows have been moved to the far top right hand corner when they used to be above the message. I'm sure the devs who made these changes do not use outlook.

I agree this was a terrible UI design change. At least it should be customizable by the user. Please let me know if this is corrected in the future!

Hi. I'm Brian and I will do my best to help you.

This seems to be a UI change Microsoft is rolling out because I see it on some accounts but not on others. If you don't like it, send them feedback. Click the Help icon (question mark) and scroll to the bottom where you'll find a Feedback link.

    Brian,

Thank you for the very quick response. I do not know about a UI change, I'll look it up.

I have two MSN/Microsoft email accounts. On my primary Hotmail.com account that I use daily, the unwanted change to the location of the Mail Quick Actions from between the Sender/From and Subject to the far right of the date. My msn.com email account that I only use for billing purposes still has the Mail quick actions in the original place between Sender/From and Subject. So apparently my Hotmail email was affected but not my MSN email account.

If the feedback you are referring to is at the bottom of the "?" Help, I will send a Feedback note about my concerns.

    Thanks, mike

UI means User Interface - what you see on the screen.
