As anyone can clearly see, MSoft are not about customers/Users - they are all about themselves. Many people seem to be asking why and how can MSoft be this way, and I can answer with one word = Twitter.
Like him and his changes or not, Musk removed 70+% of the staff employed by Twitter/X and there was no catastrophic failure - in fact during the election the X service ran brilliantly. There are too many staff in MSoft that are not dealing with Customer/User issues - and they dont care.
MSoft is the same as Twitter was - massively bloated staff numbers who dont do anything regarding Customers/Users issues. The whole organisation is full of 'corporate swimmers' who only care about one thing - their own careers and keeping their job. When corporate focus becomes all about narratives and profits and internal issues, this will consume an organisation. Then changes are made to the products and services that are not focussed on Customers/Users, and this is one of those changes.
MSoft only cares about Azure and all the services and products that comes with that (mainly corporates). Us lowly customers with basic Outlook needs are the absolute last thing they care about. Hopefully a stand alone alternative solution (better than Thundercloud) will play out over the next year or so - one that MSoft will support.
