The previous native Windows Mail app provided the option to have an "All Inboxes" view. It appears the new Outlook does not? Or am I missing something?

You are probably correct that most people probably have only one email account such as Gmail or Yahoo, etc. I however have three I use all the time and two I never use. If Microsoft doesn't create a linked inbox I'll go back to my old standby Thunderbird which works just fine.
A workaround for part of the issue, but MS really need to stop at least make this NEW outlook feature parity with all the other Outlook variants out there and especially the Mail app they are replacing. The average home user isn't going to want to fiddle about to get some approximation back. Then again, I'm guessing MS have 'telemetry' saying a majority of people don't have multiple email accounts, which might be right but then they will be on gmail anyway.
It feels a bit ridiculous when the mobile (Android and iOS) Outlook App works seamlessly in terms of "All Inbox" when the Outlook for Windows still lacking this basic function!
Well said. My feelings exactly. I only hope that decision-makers at Microsoft actually read comments on this forum.
Not only that... with All Inboxes I can get all the sent items, deleted items, spam items in one "folder".
With the favourites I can only check for new mails... and I need to switch for each of my email account... that sucks.
Please Microsoft just fix this before you discontinue Windows Mail... I really don't want to switch to thunderbird since I got some problem with my company mail account that will not work properly on thunderbird... but I can still check that single mail account on the browser if I need to, so if you do not make All inboxes a thing as soon as possible I will still switch.
