Can you print a draft email in the New Outlook?

Microsoft please note: there are no three dots anywhere, nor any print function, either in the preview pane or in the message window itself, nor in the above menu, when you are EDITING A DRAFT MESSAGE. Microsoft please will you address this functional regression asap. Or at least explain why this has been changed. And provide a workaround, please?

I also cannot print a draft email - no dots in upper right corner, nor is there a print option, nor can I use Ctrl P. The new Outlook is lacking/removed many of the options I use(d) daily, and am disappointed that there is no remedy or workaround.

According to your description, the issue of your concern that you would like to print a draft email in New Outlook for Windows.

Yes, you can print a draft email in the New Outlook.

To do so, open the draft email and click on the three dots in the top right corner of the email window. From the drop-down menu, select "Print" and follow the prompts to print the email. Or you can right click a draft and select Quick Print.

Thank you for your prompt reply. However, I do not see either of those options in my Outlook. See screen shot below, regarding the first option. I was not able to capture a screen shot when right clicking on a draft but quick print was not an option there either.

Do you have any other suggestions?

As per other replies, there is no such option in the latest version as of 17-Nov-2023 to print a draft in the New Outlook for Windows 11 (NOT the Outlook app part of Office).

Many times it is required to print a draft for a slew of reasons and so any argument of a draft being an incomplete email, is unacceptable.

Please advise.

figured out how to print a draft email!

while in your draft folder, open the draft you want to print in a new window.

from here, go back to the draft folder and make sure the draft email you want to print is still selected. it should read "[Draft] This message hasn't been sent." above the text of the email.

hit ctrl+p while in the draft folder. it should pop up a print window, allowing you to print your draft.
