Continuous spam emails from the same address: 73 Botley Road, PA20 7FZ, MIDPARK

Same here and you can’t do a thing about it. I’ve tried everything to get rid of this spam and it’s true, the more you unsubscribe the more you receive from this MIDPARK address.

It’s a cluster<removed> of 20-30 a day. I have to deal with it first thing in the morning and I’ve got at least 10 to wake up to.

Absolutely INFURIATING.

My bank account was hacked about 2 years ago and the scammers had my phone no. ( I’ve changed it now ) and email address which is not so easy to change. They constantly phoned trying to get money out of me and I constantly gave them the worst verbal abuse on the planet. When my number changed and they couldn’t reach me anymore, I’m certain this is what they did to my email account for revenge as these spam emails started shortly after.

DON’T unsubscribe- you will get more and more.

BTW that postcode doesn’t exist and nor does that address. PA is a postcode for the Isle of Bute in Scotland.

I wish I could get someone from Microsoft to help me but nobody responds. They just aren’t interested 😞

I started sending all the SPAM I got to the email I received a message from following Microsoft support - it was mscsup10@microsoft.com. After a few days all my emails were returned undelivered by Postmaster. Funny how Microsoft can readily block my emails !!!!

I reportd the issue again to Support, they advised me to change a few settings and allow 10 - 12 hours for it to take effect- nothing changed, still being bombarded.

Simple solution for Microsoft would be to prevent any messages that didn't have a checkable response / return address from having access to the system, ie: just block them completely.

From what I can see Microsoft are not interested in blocking SPAM and probably preventing multiple cases of fraud and it'll all be down to money one way or another.

Someone with a bit of techie knowledge, maybe through a University, needs to create an app that prevents emails without return facilty getting access to a system. They'd be billionaires this time next year !!!!

If I receive emails that don't give me the option to block them I am forwarding them all to Microsoft customer services emails I have aobtained after requesting support from them. Also, if I know the company involved, Iforward them tothem also, ie: got one advertising Magnet Kitchens, so I have sent it to Magnet Kitchens. The more people who kick up a fuss about them, contacting microsoft and any business that are being adverised the more chance something will be done. As previously stated, I also reported everything to ICO and those ones seemed to stopped

Not sure what difference it made, if any, but the emails I was getting from RoodyNews or RoddyNews have for the moment stopped, hope I don't speak too soon. Not sure if this was as a result of reporting them continuously to ICO or not. Started getting a lot from Scandinavian addresses now, or what appear to be, with the adverts all in a Scandi language as well. Spoke to someone at Outlook the other day and she was actually trying to help. Said some new filter was being considered ater i'd raised the point of why emails that cannot be blocked are allowed through the system. Keep pestering Microsoft / Outlook and hopefully something will be done; but I'm not holding my breath!!!!!
