I switched to the new outlook and it is no longer showing the total number of emails in each folder.

I will not be downloading Outlook until the number of emails in my Inbox is restored.

Agreed! I cannot use this without the e-mail count. I switched back to the old version of outlook.

So why does Microsoft keep asking to switch to the new one (Hotmail)?

I have to use the classic version (Mail).

We need this: Total email count next to each account

Please fix this, and I will be so glad to use Hotmail.

I don't find any of the workarounds helpful to my organizational style either. It was so much better before.

    Dear Kelly Gant,

Thanks for posting the question here. Please kindly provide the following info for better understanding.

1.Could you please help confirm if the status shows in outlook in the right down corner is all folders are up to date? If not, could you please click on the send/receive>update folder to see if it will update?

2.What’s outlook version you are using? (remember to remove the personal info, choose File from the top left corner, and then click either Account or Help on the left nav bar )

    1. Please also refer to the link to see if it will let the number show or not. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/display-the-total-number-of-messages-in-a-folder-1f47664e-2468-4f0e-8515-4e0596f9553a

    Look forward to your reply.
