Outlook keeps opening multiple windows on macbook (macOS Monterey ver 12.4)

Hi there, no solution from M/Soft yet but I have found that in my case the window which was opening many many times was one of my Folders in Outlook, in my case it was a "Template Reply" folder which i used to store my email replies that I use often. So I created another folder and moved these reply emails to this new folder then deleted the Template Replies folder. This seems to have fixed the issue....for now at least anyway.

I also have some issue. Using MacOS ventura 13.0

when I run outlook on my MacBook air, it opens up multiple windows (up to 50) automatically. this in return freezes up my application.

i've tried to create a new account and reinstall outlook where it will run as expected for a few months and then it restarts to open up multiple windows.

this has been ongoing from running BigSur and now on Monterey.

Exactly my words thank you - today 37 screens opening and then freezing my MacBook, (I have nice screenshot and also previous screen video to send someone, but I don't know who) - I have to use Mail, or OWA neither so good and by 2023 I would expect the IT industry to have sorted this ongoing problem I have had for 3 years, recreating multiple ID, reinstalling 365 several times etc! I cannot run my business easily with this sort of problem, it is taking too much of my time.

New Outlook for Mac is very good thank you when it works and consistent, I use Exchange rules by setting up on OWA, really good rule system diverting emails into my many folders (is the number of folders causing the multiple opening?) but I need MS to please add in at least 'Exchange rules' and 'show reply', and Delivery receipt again. This latter I have not yet given feedback but is the worst missing link, it causes issue of uncertainty particularly when sending large number of attachments, clients sometimes not receiving and I don't know.

I have the same problem. It has been better lately but now with latest SW it got worse again.
