Quick actions - location changed in inbox?

Hi,

Starting today, the location of the Quick Actions has moved in the Inbox message list. They had been located between the Sender name and Subject for each message but now have moved to the far right side of the screen, which I find cumbersome to use.

Does anyone know of a way to change the location of the columns in Outlook.com or at least the location of these? The only thing I see in Settings is the ability to toggle on/off the various Quick Actions themselves (e.g. Pin, Categorize, Delete, etc.)

    True! I use a very wide screen. I literally have to move my head to the right to try to find the quick action, then carefully line it up with the correct email then look back left to try to verify I am not about to alter the wrong email.

    Thankyou for posting your concern as I have exactly the same problem and am dismayed that someone sees this as an improvement and would thrust this upon members thinking their wisdom to be superior to free choice

    I found a work around hat may work for you. Turn on the Reading pane to show on the right. That will bring back the quick action shortcuts back to where they were before the update. I don't usually use the preview pane but I'm getting used to it. Good Luck.

    Hi Karen4961, Open Outlook, In the top Right look for and click the Settings (Gear), Tn the popup menu, go to the bottom of the list to: "READING PANE", choose "SHOW ON THE RIGHT" Good Luck.
