Quick actions - location changed in inbox?

Hi,

Starting today, the location of the Quick Actions has moved in the Inbox message list. They had been located between the Sender name and Subject for each message but now have moved to the far right side of the screen, which I find cumbersome to use.

Does anyone know of a way to change the location of the columns in Outlook.com or at least the location of these? The only thing I see in Settings is the ability to toggle on/off the various Quick Actions themselves (e.g. Pin, Categorize, Delete, etc.)

    I have the same issue. The "update" occurred sometime this afternoon.

    Using FF with msn.com email via Outlook.com

    This is one of the dumbest changes that MS has ever done. Yet another example of MS attempting to fix something that wasn't broken. At least give the users the option of changing the settings back to the original position as indicated in previous posts. Having the option buttons on the right side of the screen is cumbersome at best.

    The sooner this is fixed the better.

    I'm a hotmail.com user and noticed this change occurred today (5/17). It makes zero sense to move the 'quick actions' to the far right of the screen, because now you have to look on the left side to view the sender/subject, then move your eyes all the way to the right, making sure not to move your mouse off that line, to see the quick actions. Then move your eyes all the way left again for the next message.

    Because of the change in quick action location, it's actually faster to NOT use them and instead use the options along the top row for manipulating mail items.

    I don't get why anyone even considered making this change in the first place, it makes zero sense. At the very lease give us the option to move it back to the original spot.

    I have the same problem - I am extremely dissatisfied with the quick actions located now on the right.

    I use large 27" screen and Outlook layout without email preview, so the icons are now located about 40cm/feet+ away from the email sender and subject column. This is causing large delays to me when I'm processing my emails and it hurts my productivity.

    Please bring the quick actions back to where they were located originally and where I was able to use them quickly when processing my inbox, thanks!

    As suggested in one of the earlier post by someone from MS, I made a feedback complaint via the help menu in Outllook.com. Hopefully, someone will read it and take some action.
