Access Denied in New Outlook

I am using the New Outlook and when I log in and click on a message and try to view it, I get an access denied message. Yesterday, I was told that I had to log in but I wasn't given that option. Today, I just get an access denied message with no log in recommendation.

I am an Office 365 Home subscriber, using Windows 10. I can get my Outlook messages by loading Outlook through Office 265.

Same issue popped up on the new outlook right after I change my outlook password on my home account. Relogging ect. all didnt solve it. Reverting to the solid old outlook solved it for now. There must be somthing in the validation of account access in the flow that simply isnt working and letting access come through. I dont have the issue on a corporate account using the new outlook and after changing a password there.

The same issue appeared today in new outlook (outlook.com account, same as used for windows 11 user profile, on 30th of march, 2024, New Zealand timezone).
Reading mails gets Access Denied, then I click login - which is accepted immediately.

The mail contents are displayed, after clicking other mails the issue happens again.

Was able to add new events in calendar though... used outlook.com browser version to send an email.

EDIT: While typing this, I tried the login again, the login dialog displayed another text message this time (I didn't screenshot).
It seems this resolved the issue - for now ...

Nice job! This worked perfectly. Much better than turning off MFA/2FA (what ever that is...)
