Access Denied in New Outlook

I am using the New Outlook and when I log in and click on a message and try to view it, I get an access denied message. Yesterday, I was told that I had to log in but I wasn't given that option. Today, I just get an access denied message with no log in recommendation.

I am an Office 365 Home subscriber, using Windows 10. I can get my Outlook messages by loading Outlook through Office 265.

Im getting issues with the new outlook all the time. The new outlook is a joke and its a disaster that Microsoft release an unfinished product and use me as a beta tester for broken software.

The worrying thing is that I can view my emails without having to log in with an actual password. Went back to the old version for peace of mind. I’ve tried everything, Really frustrating that there is nowhere in outlook to re-enter my password after I have changed it.

I started experiencing this problem today. It appears to have been the result of an automated Windows Update (for Windows 10).

As many have already stated, the problem seems to be tied to New Outlook. If I revert back to Old Outlook, it works perfectly fine, but as soon as I try to enable New Outlook again, the problem re-appears.

I've been using New Outlook for over a year, so it's quite surprising to be affected out of the blue. Perhaps some Windows 11-specific security changes were retroactively pushed out for Windows 10 as well? It seems that most users in this thread are running Windows 11.

Another alternative that works for me is to use the browser e-mail services instead. So if you truly need to access your mailbox asap, this could be the way (if reverting back to Old Outlook doesn't cut it, that is).

Have the same problem starting today. Never had this before. Using Windows 11 and new Outlook for years (even in beta).
