Access Denied in New Outlook

I am using the New Outlook and when I log in and click on a message and try to view it, I get an access denied message. Yesterday, I was told that I had to log in but I wasn't given that option. Today, I just get an access denied message with no log in recommendation.

I am an Office 365 Home subscriber, using Windows 10. I can get my Outlook messages by loading Outlook through Office 265.

Same here. Apparently Microsoft has made things so complicated that they're loosing control. Email is about the oldest use case for the internet and even that is becomming totally unusable.

Switching back to the old mail app is no solution, windows will switch back to new outlook in a few days, and the old mail app will be discarded of this year.

My solution, or rather workaround, for now is simply not using the app. The web version is working (untill now), and i will get the notifications on my phone. At least the Android mail clients are working properly...

My issue seems resolved since I had switched from Edge back to Chrome. I think the issue might have been in the authentication steps that use the browser to log in and then go back to the new outlook.

It seems that the less Microsoft products you have, the better they work.

What's the point of redirecting the users to the new app if the new app is totally broken
