I am using the New Outlook and when I log in and click on a message and try to view it, I get an access denied message. Yesterday, I was told that I had to log in but I wasn't given that option. Today, I just get an access denied message with no log in recommendation.
I am an Office 365 Home subscriber, using Windows 10. I can get my Outlook messages by loading Outlook through Office 265.

I asked this question a year or so ago, tried everything listed here, only thing that worked was using the old outlook, I searched for it on pc, and it came up with two outlooks. since then, I have had no issues,

Just found your post, after days of "Access Denied" after a fleeting glance of the email folders deleting "Cookies and other site data" in History I thought had resolved this.
But now after 20 minutes the issue has returned.... :(

What is MFA/2FA? How do you turn it off? I am having this "access denied" problem on a new computer (manufactured in 2024 and bought in 2025) using Windows 11 Home S. Outlook is called "new." I have never before heard of MFA and have no idea how to find it or turn it off. I need more help than this.
I have the Access denied problem but I notice it happens when I reply to an email.. That email gets stuck in Draft and Outlook says the email is not being sent. After Access denied and manage repair a couple of times I get back in only to get kicked out again. The next day when Iog in, I get an email message saying the email could not be sent.
