Access Denied in New Outlook

I am using the New Outlook and when I log in and click on a message and try to view it, I get an access denied message. Yesterday, I was told that I had to log in but I wasn't given that option. Today, I just get an access denied message with no log in recommendation.

I am an Office 365 Home subscriber, using Windows 10. I can get my Outlook messages by loading Outlook through Office 265.

    I agree . Useless. I'll be contacting them again. They said last tiem still under developement!!.

    I have to go into view the click sync to get emails that load automatically in the good old Mail App. Might just use the Aol browser instead.

    Thanks appreciate that! But i dont use edge and dont want to either, they just need to fix this BS lol.. What is wrong with them?

    Look for Mozilla Thunderbird in the MS Store as a much better replacement (and free, no ads): just testing it now and this new UWP version is just perfect with ALL options you may want (including receiving notifications, high priority...) and supports also calendars from Google, Hotmail, Yahoo...

    Forget Outlook New in its deplorable current state.

    Thanks for your replies Dave3 and Hexaae. As you both say Microsoft are useless at sorting and checking out their software Apps such as the New Outlook that I'm using as a replacement for the Mail App that works OK after the sleep mode. Why isn't New Outlook the same?. We shouldn't have to quit and do a restart each time should we. I've contacted MS support and all they say is New Outlook is still under development and testing. Glad I'm not using Crowdstrike!!

    This problem happens 99% if you leave Outlook New overnight with Sleep + Resume the day after, and then you'll find Access Denied error in Outlook New. The solution at this point for me is easy: just quit and restart Outlook New, but is a shame MS has never fixed this problem (first versions of Outlook New were not affected!) after 1 year.

    **** software and lazy support, avoid it at all costs. At present is ranked 2.4/5 on MS Store which is still too much.
