Not receiving desktop notifications in 'New Outlook'

I have enabled desktop notifications in the New Outlook app. But once I close the app, I don't receive notifications from the app. I have also enabled desktop notifications in the windows settings too. When I open the app, I get notifications of new emails being sent but once I close the app, I don't receive notifications anymore. It is extremely annoying and I have faced this same issue on another device with the same 'New Outlook'. I have faced this for a long time.

I use a Surface Laptop Go with 8GB RAM and
a 10th gen Intel Core i5 with 256 GB storage.
This laptop runs Windows 11 Pro.It was upgarded for Windows 10 Pro recently.

Hi There. My Desktop Notification does work, but! without Sound. (If new Outlook was closed)

If New Outlook is open, Notication work very well, with Sound!

    I have a Outlook.com Account!

Other Notifications in my Windows 11 System, work ok, with Sound!

This is more than infuriating. My rage level is really high over this. I've followed all the suggestions listed here, and the only one that PARTIALLY worked was deleting my custom email account and adding it again. I say "partially" because I still don't receive notifications if the app is closed, only if it's minimized.

What's worse? I've uninstalled the new Outlook no less than SEVEN TIMES, and Microsoft continues to reinstall this stupid app WITHOUT ASKING ME and forces it to open when I open the old mail app.

If you're going to force us all to use your new junk, which also forces us to get ADS in our inboxes when your old app didn't do that, then FIX YOUR JUNK.

Hi, bro, I got the solution. Please follow the instructions below

    1. open the file location C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs.
    2. find the shortcut of "outlook" and copy it.
    3. press the Windows + R, type: shell:startup.
    4. paste the Outlook shortcut from the second step.
    5. restart the computer, and there you go.

The new Outlook will start up automatically when you start the computer, remember to minimize the window when it opens, and enable the 'Hide when minimized' function in the system tray.

    Best wishes
