Not receiving desktop notifications in 'New Outlook'

I have enabled desktop notifications in the New Outlook app. But once I close the app, I don't receive notifications from the app. I have also enabled desktop notifications in the windows settings too. When I open the app, I get notifications of new emails being sent but once I close the app, I don't receive notifications anymore. It is extremely annoying and I have faced this same issue on another device with the same 'New Outlook'. I have faced this for a long time.

I use a Surface Laptop Go with 8GB RAM and
a 10th gen Intel Core i5 with 256 GB storage.
This laptop runs Windows 11 Pro.It was upgarded for Windows 10 Pro recently.

This is more than infuriating. My rage level is really high over this. I've followed all the suggestions listed here, and the only one that PARTIALLY worked was deleting my custom email account and adding it again. I say "partially" because I still don't receive notifications if the app is closed, only if it's minimized.

What's worse? I've uninstalled the new Outlook no less than SEVEN TIMES, and Microsoft continues to reinstall this stupid app WITHOUT ASKING ME and forces it to open when I open the old mail app.

If you're going to force us all to use your new junk, which also forces us to get ADS in our inboxes when your old app didn't do that, then FIX YOUR JUNK.

If New Outlook is open, Notication work very well, with Sound!

Not receiving desktop notifications anymore soon after first using the application when it is closed. Additionally, this initial notification that one does receive (before they completely stop) are not the same type as when the app is open with Delete/ Archive/ Dismiss buttons on them. This is the way it is FOR EVERYONE. There are NO SOLUTIONS on our end. Microsoft needs to resolve this malfunction before publishing claims about this app functionality. OUR LIVELYHOOODS ARE IN PERIL. Please be advised that as a result of this negligence there is liability and quantifiable loss on our end.

The main reason that 90% of people buy a computer is to take care of important personal business ($$$$$). Email and calendar are ESSENTIAL. Without them everything else is POINTLESS. Have you all gone insane over there at Bellevue? Notifications are no longer working for ANYBODY for the most essential functions on our computers and none of the solutions provided anywhere on the Internet do anything at all. The problem is that it doesn't work. PERIOD!!! The New Outlook is EMBARASING. It's beyond terrible by unanimous consent of your customers. What (who) are the priorities at your company? We receive Notifications perfectly from EVERYTHING ELSE except what matters most to us, your customers.
