We are just fellow users and wouldn't be able to tell you why.

    Here's some things to try

    • Clear your browser's cache.
    • Check the View/Filter settings.
    • Check the Deleted and Recovery Items folders.
    • Check your Rules.
    • Check all your devices, maybe one of them went "rogue" and delete the items

There are a few possible reasons why all of your emails might have disappeared from your inbox:

You accidentally deleted them. If you are using a desktop email client, such as Outlook or Thunderbird, it is possible that you accidentally deleted all of your emails. You can check your deleted items folder to see if they are still there. Your email provider has deleted them. Some email providers have a policy of deleting emails after a certain period of time. If you have not logged into your account in a while, it is possible that your emails have been deleted. Your email account has been hacked. If your email account has been hacked, the hacker may have deleted your emails. You can check your email account settings to see if there have been any unauthorized changes. There is a problem with your email server. If there is a problem with your email server, you may not be able to access your emails. You can check the status of your email server to see if there are any known problems. If you have checked all of these possibilities and you are still not sure why your emails disappeared, you can contact your email provider for help.

Here are some additional things you can try:

Check your spam folder. It is possible that your emails were accidentally moved to your spam folder. You can check your spam folder to see if they are there. Use the search bar. You can use the search bar to search for specific emails. This can help you to find emails that may have been hidden or moved. Contact your email provider. If you have tried all of these steps and you are still not able to find your emails, you can contact your email provider for help. They may be able to restore your emails or provide you with more information about why they disappeared. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I was asked to switch to new outlook but then I found all my emails had disappeared. I am frustrated that I cannot get back all my emails to which I have to reply to and at least read. Where have they gone and how can I get them back on bigpond.com and not have to go to outlook.com. What is going on?

    Same just happened to me.

All my emails and my calendar events.

I wasn't even asked to change to new outlook. it just did it.

Does anyone know what is happening and if we can get the emails back?

    I need them back.

Not all of mine disappeared, but random ones disappeared from my outlook.office.com and the Mail app on my laptop. However, some time ago I linked all my email accounts using my Yahoo! mail app. Thankfully I did that because I can still see/access them from there. So, I definitely have not "accidentally" deleted them or have rules set up to move/delete them.

This is such a hassle because, of course, it's my work email this is happening to.
