Organizing and accessing contact information in Outlook.com
Thank you for trying, but there is no option for creating a rule to disallow or move emails with no sender address.

I use a hotmail email address and I've been getting multiple spam emails a day and they don't have sender addresses. If I try to reply to them, Outlook would tell me the recipient cannot be empty. I also cannot block them since there's no sender addresses to block.
This is getting extremely irritating.

Can someone please help?
Hello retardgaming
Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today.
A few points
#1 - Are these messages being delivered to the <Inbox> or to the <Junk> folder. If these are delivered to the Junk folder then these are already considered blocked by the Outlook Junk filter so there is nothing more you can do about those. There is no option that completely prevents something from being delivered to the <mailbox>.
#2 - If the messages are aarriving in your <Inbox> then your only option would be to create an Inbox rule using the following settings using some common keywords
Condition: <Message header includes>
Value: ***whatever value you are looking for***
Action: <Delete>

This link will bring you to the <Inbox> rules

#3 - On a more general level, just as a FYI, if you actually reply to any spam message, you are guaranteed to increase the flow of spam messages to your account since it tells the spammer that your is an active valid email. I realize that you may only have hit reply to see the sender's email address with no intention of actually sending a reply.
Just so there is no misunderstanding, this is a public user-to-user support forum. We're users just like you helping other users. We do not work for Microsoft.
I am having the same problem I looked in the email header and it looks like these emails are passing all the checks.
The email I am receiving is really being sent from ******@packs.nl but does not show in the actual email.
I was able to see the email address in the message header.
I have blocked the email sent from this email address but will know if this works soon.
I am not sure why this email is passing the SPF checks from Microsoft.
Regards,
Steve
