Outlook Mac, how to move mail/cal/people icons from side back to bottom

I, and 3 colleagues, are all on the same version of Outlook for Mac (16.71.2).

For two of us the icons for Mail, Calendar, and People are on the side. The 3rd person has them (where I always used to find them) at the bottom.

I have searched everywhere but cannot figure out how to get them to the bottom again.

Thoughts??

    Need the shortcuts back at the bottom in New Outlook.

    Exactly. I am already using 'New Outlook' but the icons swapped from bottom left to the side and it doesn't seem to be user-configurable. I don't actually want to revert the view just move those short cuts back to where they were. Guess I will just have to get used to them.

    +1 - I like the new view, but would rather have the icons back at the bottom, not the side - definitely don't want to revert back to the super-icon heavy 'old' Outlook UI...

    This works!

    Help > Clear Application Data > Tick experimental features > Clear

    This will restart and send back to bottom left!

    Sweet! That *did* work for me, AND allows me to keep "New Outlook" in place!

    My version comes from the company so not sure I can update that.

    The bigger issue is this was working fine until a week ago max with no changes that I'm aware of.

    Also 3 colleagues - same version, works properly for 1 but not for me and the other.
