Right click paste not working in Outlook 365

I am operating Office 365 email on Windows 10.

When I compose an email, the program will allow me to right click and copy words. But it will not allow me to right click and paste words. It gives me only the option to paste an emoji.

I also cannot find the paste icon at the top of Microsoft 365 to use that function.

I tried to upload a screenshot but it won't go through.

    We already know that. it was in a previous post. It's not an answer. It's a workaround like CTRL+v.

    There seems to be different degree of problems. I have the new "Emoji menu" too but I also have Copy, Cut, Paste and Paste as plain text too. In my case, my paste button would not paste until I unblocked my clipboard as I stated earlier. If users are not getting the full "Emoji menu", then it's obviously another issue which, I think, would involve registry changes. I want to try to get the old menu back with the Google search option. For me, this menu is now available ony from the Subject line of the email ...bummer. So, I think with some registry change I can make it available for the body of the email. This would help those who have menu problems.

    I'm using Firefox browser. Outlook web overrides browser context menu (right click) in the email body. I get 2 different menus:

    Right click only (Outlook context menu pops up)

    Right click with Shift button (Firefox browser context menu pops up)

    There is no clipboard permission in Firefox browser as far as I know. What we're seeing is a context menu presented by the website (outlook.live.com).

    Whoever is in charge with Outlook development must be a kid to think that emoji is more important than business related functionalities. What's next? A "slap with a fish", "poke recipients" context menu?

    For me, this menu is now available ony from the Subject line of the email ...bummer. So, I think with some registry change I can make it available for the body of the email. This would help those who have menu problems.

    For me browser context menu is available everywhere (To, From, Subject etc) except in the mail body (Firefox browser).

    Hi Ron6576 Thanks for the clarity! Of course, in Chrome, which I use a lot, I get the same Emoji menu with a right click shift. Really miss the full menu! I am not a developer, however, my hope was the site was calling those menu settings from the registry. That would open the possibility of changing them. I see there are several threads on this problem and haven't seen anyone yet with that experience. My problem is fixed and was a clipboard blocking problem. The missing options in user's emoji menus seems to be another problem. And yes, it looks like permissions in Firefox are totally different.
