I am operating Office 365 email on Windows 10.
When I compose an email, the program will allow me to right click and copy words. But it will not allow me to right click and paste words. It gives me only the option to paste an emoji.
I also cannot find the paste icon at the top of Microsoft 365 to use that function.
I tried to upload a screenshot but it won't go through.

OMG THANK YOU! This worked. I couldn't paste anything in outlook with right-click OR CTRL + V and it was driving me crazy. This fixed it.

I'm an old codger who still uses a wired mouse and disables his touchpad. Shift+right-click is a bit easier than CTRL+v for me because I can keep one hand on the mouse. Lazy or what? HOWEVER, Microsoft still needs to fix the problem. On another note, I finally stumbled upon Permissions in Firefox; Lock Icon->Connection secure->More information. There is no Clipboard option under the Firefox Permissions tab.
Holding shift while right click does work. For me, it isn't any better than CTRL+v. They embedded a callout function that basically lets you add emojis and alters fonts and colors just like the functions in the toolbar. Why they feel this was necessary is beyond me. The callout's name is ms-callout.root-655.css-93. I don't know enough about JS and HTML programming to go much further. If I try to remove it, the page immediately reloads it.
