Right click paste not working in Outlook 365

FYI. I tried my Gmail account via Firefox. There is nothing missing from the right-click context menu.

You have been very helpful, Keera!! I should have done more research. Copy and Paste both appear in the right-click context menu in Edge. Under "Permissions for this site", Clipboard is set to "Ask (default)" for the Paste function. It can be set to Allow, Block, or Ask. Sorry for sounding upset with you. I was upset with Microsoft because the paste function disappeared from the right-click context menu when using Firefox, but maybe I should be upset with Firefox because the problem is on their end? I prefer to use Firefox so I'll muddle along until Paste reappears. It's not the end of the world. Thank you!

I checked on Firefox and I believe you're correct, I cannot find any settings to prevent using the clipboard, so I'm not sure what the issue could be there.

The lock icon is just to the left of the "https://" in the browser in Edge. My coworker had the option to copy and even had the option to paste on the right-click menu, but when pasting, nothing would happen. I replied to Risdon & Risdon because their issue sounded similar to the one we were having, not necessarily all the issues for everyone on this thread. I apologize for upsetting you, I was only trying to help others with the solution I found. If the paste option is not showing up, that sounds like a different issue that I cannot help with. I don't work for Microsoft, I'm just a user trying to help where I can.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm not upset. That happened months ago when I first encountered this problem. More like irritated by it. I'm fairly sure that the issue is with the embedded apps in the page and not a browser setting. I believe this on 2 parts. One, I use Hotmail, which is now Outlook.Live (paste works fine). Basically a lesser version of Outlook.Office365. Not as many extras. And 2, because I can still CTRL+v and paste that way. If clipboard was being blocked, I would think that any way to use it would be prevented and not just the right click also, copying works without problems. The only paste problem I have on any computer (this problem happens on any computer I've tried) is only on Outlook 365. I'm just guessing here, but maybe they think by doing this people will install Outlook on their devices.

Doesn't work for me. I'm using Firefox. There's no lock icon anywhere in the window, or elsewhere on the screen. No settings for this anywhere in the program either. Also, and I stated this before, I only have this issue with my office 365 mail. My live mail hasn't had this problem. This is defiantly something Microsoft did. It's been this way for so long, I doubt if anyone there cares or wants to resolve the problem.

I'm with you on this, John. I use Firefox and Edge on a PC running Windowes 11 to access my Outlook e-mail on the web (outlook.live.com/mail/). There is no lock icon on the upper left of the browser window or anywhere else I can see. Perhaps it is visible if using a different operating system or a device like an android or other smartphone?? This thread is supposed to be about the right-click context menu lacking a paste option rather than access or permission to access the clipboard. In any event, I have access to the clipboard in the right-click context menu because I am allowed to Copy. The problem is Paste is missing from that context menu. Microsoft should fix this. Why have Copy and not have Paste? Copy and Paste have been the Yin and Yang of editing for decades.
