Right click paste not working in Outlook 365

I had a co-worker with this same problem and I think I've figured it out!

Depending on which browser you're using, you'll need to adjust the settings for your browser.

Edge:

• In the upper left-hand corner of the browser bar there's a little lock icon.
• Click the lock icon and under "permissions for this site" we found that clipboard was blocked.
• Change "block" to "allow" for the clipboard

Chrome:

• In the upper left-hand corner of the browser bar there's a little lock icon.
• Click the lock icon, then click "Site Settings"
• Under Site Settings, look for one called "Clipboard" and change the settings to "Allow"
• The default is "ask" so it will always ask you and if you accidentally block your permissions, it will turn them off.

I have a user experiencing a similar issue. I was not able to reproduce it in on my computer using O365 on the web. She could copy from any source, she had the paste option available in her context menu, but when she clicked on it, nothing would paste into her email message. We came up with a workaround using the keyboard shortcuts "CRTL+C" to copy and "CTRL+V" to paste. She can successfully copy and paste using the shortcuts, but not when she tries to right-click and select paste from the context menu.

Why change something that is so simple like right click to something else? Please fix this issue so a person can just use the mouse like any other program. Control+V takes longer and is totally unnecessary Always changing things to make it better they say. Right click copy and past works on this on this web site right now, so why not haveiit work in outlook like it always did before?

I am operating Office 365 on Windows 11 and am having the exact same issue.

When I have copied something and I right click so I may paste, the ONLY option I am given is "Emoji". Copy and Cut are greyed out, I assume because what I want to paste is already on the clipboard. (When there is nothing on the clipboard and I right click, I am offered Emoji, Copy, Cut.)

This forum will not let me upload the example screenshot, either. This error has been happening for the past few days and it is extremely frustrating!

Sajjad's answer suggestion was not successful.

Under Settings -> General -> Accessibility, selecting "Turn off keyboard shortcuts" seems to temporarily allow me to paste with the right-click option. However, even when I save this setting, it seems to be automatically reverting to the "Outlook" keyboard shortcuts shortly after.

I personally prefer using the right-click "Paste" option to the "Ctrl+V" option. If anyone comes across a more permanent fix, please let me know. Thanks!
