How to I reorder the columns in Outlook online?

Was a solution ever found to the column reordering in Outlook online email?

Hi everyone. My name is Edwin and I'm new here.
Last night my web-based Outlook was just fine, but today, it decided to magically reformat itself as well. I really can't start to describe the infuriating feelings that are starting to build up especially considering some of you have been waiting for a fix for 8-9 months now. This type of incompetence really boils my blood.

I know I should just pivot and figure out a different outlook format to use instead in the meanwhile but.....fuuuudddgggeeeee! Don't try fixing something that isn't broken! I think the worse part is the utter randomness of it all too. There's no why or explanation. There's no follow up from Microsoft.

Ridiculous. Bunch of donkey ****, really. Okay. Rant over.

Guys I've some bad news, as a lead engineer for many years, I can safely say that this is obviously being ignored, it has been flagged 9 months now..

I bet its sitting in a minor version backlog list and it not going to be looked at until they get a placement student with nothing better to do..

It's now October and there seems to be no response from Microsoft on this. The new column ordering makes the user have to continually look to the right and then back to the left. It is not an improved experience. Please change it back or provide a configuration option so users can set the order of the columns for themselves.
