How to I reorder the columns in Outlook online?

Until they figure out a fix to our flag issue...I made a minor adjustment and it seems to work for me...go into the Outlook settings by clicking on the gear icon at the top right...you'll see choices of display density and I chose "Cozy"...then I scrolled down to "reading pane" and chose "show on the right"....that's it, now the messages are easier to see with flags, delete and dates nearby...when you open a message it shows much larger... it's not perfect but it works for me...good luck everyone!!

I agree. This is a terrible usability change. While viewing the email From and Subject columns on the left, you now have to carefully look all the way to the right to find the actions. So when scanning your emails your eyes have to constantly jump back and forth from left to right.

I hope MS either changes it back to the prior column order or provides the ability to reorder the columns. If not, this is so uncomfortable that I may need to look for another mail app.

Why has MS decided to change this without any option to let users configure column locations in accordance with their preferences? Suddenly I'm also unable to resize the folder list on the left so I'm losing screen space to that... what benefit do forced changes like these provide?

Really not happy about the change to the order of the columns. How do I change this back?
