Outlook.com "Sync Email" settings - "Unable to load these settings. Please try again later."

I am using the free version of Outlook.com and followed the forums and help how to set up a GMail sync to Outlook.com.

However since two days I got this clicking on the "Sync Email" menu.

Even the X button on the upper right corner does not operates when being in this menu.

I tried this menu in browsers like Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera.

All the same results.

Questions:

  1. can I use Gmail sync using free version of Outlook.com?
  2. do you know this

    Hi there.

    Thank you for getting back to me.

    I have been able to configure the email accounts that weren't accessible on my PC on my Android phone.

    At least something is working.

    One of the accounts was very important for me.

    I see what you mean in your post about Android.

    I was just happy to get something working.

    Still not working on my PC.

    Also could not get it to work on my MacBook.

    Apparently your issue is not related to the "Sync Email" section not working in Outlook.com settings. But glad that whatever wasn't working for you before is now working.

    I have the same issue.

    I want to remove a synchronization, but am unable to get to the configuration. I also gets the "Unable to load these settings. Please try again later." error.

    Stuck in this state for months. I have multiple accounts being synced to outlook.com, and everyday I receive emails to fix my settings, while the settings page doesn’t load.

    I am a premium MS 365 user, and I am not quite sure why I decided to pay MS for this broken service. Should have just stuck to google.
