Configuring preferences and options in Outlook.com
Thanks for your response.
Would have been good for microsoft to have sent a warning when removing some functionalities that are very useful like that one.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I am using the free version of Outlook.com and followed the forums and help how to set up a GMail sync to Outlook.com.
However since two days I got this clicking on the "Sync Email" menu.
Even the X button on the upper right corner does not operates when being in this menu.
I tried this menu in browsers like Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera.
All the same results.

Sadly your solution seems not to work anymore. At least I don't get it to work.
Installed the proxy including the certificate, set it up in windows and navigated to the sync email setting, but get the same error message.
All right
We understand that adding a Connected Account has been deprecated and now we get an error with the Sync Page with no support whatsoever – to the point that Microsoft Support are ignoring the issue and hoping that it goes away – and so do we!
Let me make a radicle suggestion for Outlook Support!:
How difficulet can this be?
I noticed that the page will load for my corporate account but not for my personal account. Is there another way to remove email accounts? Or reset outlook so that I can start over with a clean account?
Wow not helpful and if I am to be honest, a bit ****.
Go back, read your reply and at least have the decency to proof it.
