Configuring preferences and options in Outlook.com
Kindly help me to restore my lost email address: ******@outlook.com
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I am using the free version of Outlook.com and followed the forums and help how to set up a GMail sync to Outlook.com.
However since two days I got this clicking on the "Sync Email" menu.
Even the X button on the upper right corner does not operates when being in this menu.
I tried this menu in browsers like Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera.
All the same results.

I hope that this can be resolved as I have gotten used to accessing all of my Email accounts through my Outlook Email account.
My Regards, Chris
The connected accounts feature has been dropped.
The ability to manage connected accounts was removed.
Do not expect a fix for a feature that has been removed.
Hello Ron Sommer MVP,
Thank You very much for your very clear explanation in reply to my message.
I wonder why a message to that effect is not shown on Outlook when we try to access:
Settings - Email - Sync Email
Instead of the message that we have been receiving for weeks:
unable to load these settings please try later
Unless I am mistaken I thought that nearly all of the posts on this thread were about the same issue - not being able to access Settings - Email - Sync Email - so I wonder why this information was not known by some other responders / has not been given sooner to the many Forum Members who posted on this thread before my message ?
You may have stated this in another message - please excuse me if I either missed it or did not understand it until I saw the reason very clearly explained in your reply to me.
My Regards, Chris
Same issue here. This has killed my ability to get email This is an issue no matter what OS, Browser, anything. This is quite upsetting. Even worse, trying to get help has been a nightmare. I have had 6 different tickets opened and closed by Microsoft in the last 48 hours. No fix and no real help. C'mon Microsoft, I know you are better than this.
This problem is also affecting those of us who have a 365 Premium account. It typically links the microsoft account to an existing email. All was working fine, until I changed the password for my mail server. It broke the connection and there is no way to reestablish the connection between the two.
