Outlook.com "Sync Email" settings - "Unable to load these settings. Please try again later."

I am using the free version of Outlook.com and followed the forums and help how to set up a GMail sync to Outlook.com.

However since two days I got this clicking on the "Sync Email" menu.

Even the X button on the upper right corner does not operates when being in this menu.

I tried this menu in browsers like Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera.

All the same results.

Questions:

  1. can I use Gmail sync using free version of Outlook.com?
  2. do you know this

    Same issue: Unable to load these settings for Sync Email and also for the Forwarding .

    This issue needs to be solved for good because it is going on for years. Ridiculous performance of the Outlook team.

    This is now working for me again, after weeks. Email sync settings load, and I can change the default "from" address easily.

    Did you do anything to make it work again? I'm still waiting the things work again for mine...

    Hi,

    I have a second email connected to my hotmail account, but recently I have not been receiving the emails from the other account. I have been trying to check my sync settings, but I keep getting the unable to load these settings. It has been like this for at least a week and would like some support as the connected email is a business email. Thanks!

    The issue is still on-going on. Receiving everyday an email from Microsoft to do the settings. But since weeks the settings displays " Unable to load these settings. Please try again later".
