However, how do users REMOVE this facility since the sync page no longer works at all?

If the sync starts to fail, accounts may be locked out by Outlook.com constantly unsuccessfully trying to access the account, but users seem to have no way of removing the sync.

Has Microsoft supplied an answer here?

It would have been better for Microsoft to remove and stop the facility altogether.

I am not clear which email service you want to make your primary account, so I will cover both.

1. Make Gmail your primary, ie it will retrieve email from your other accounts.

In Gmail. select Quick Settings, then all Settings, then Forwarding and IMAP/POP and set up the accounts you want to retrieve

That works fine.

2. Outlook on the web (outlook.com) as primary

As in my earlier post, this is no longer available despite the idiotic message "Try again later" on the sync page.

Hey, to be honest with you l dont l dont know what to say to you because the source of all this was caused by you meaning Microsoft, by all the time changing my password to the extent where l coud not remember which one l had used. Thus, to say l have no idea what happened and how to reverse it.
