I am using the free version of Outlook.com and followed the forums and help how to set up a GMail sync to Outlook.com.

However since two days I got this clicking on the "Sync Email" menu.

Even the X button on the upper right corner does not operates when being in this menu.

I tried this menu in browsers like Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera.

All the same results.

Questions:

  1. can I use Gmail sync using free version of Outlook.com?
  2. do you know this

All I want to do is turn on POP so I can get the emails from my hotmail account down to outlook on my windows 10 computer.

Please fix the Sync setting that is causing the load failure or give me a way to turn on POP!!

I'm getting the same response..."Unable to load these settings. Please try again later." I've been getting it for several days, on different devices (Windows 10 machine, iPad).

I am trying to delete an account that I no longer want to sync. Outlook sent me an email that it could no longer sync; its been deleted or disable, which it should be (old job I don't have any more). But I cant' get to sync settings to delete it!

    Any ideas?

Guys let me add another take to this issue.

Could it possibly be the following at play, that the Sync Email does not work and more - apart from depracated Connected Accounts?

Microsoft's new One Outlook: Coming Soon?

One Outlook, also known as Project Monarch, supposedly coming in Spring 2022, according to Microsoft.

Maybe, there are bigger things at play?

It is very annoying to receive an email every day reminding me that one of my email accounts cannot sync when Microsoft has intentionally created the problem.

Setting up and maintaining an email account is just so basic.

I can't understand their logic in doing this as it simply annoys and alienated their customers.

I assume it's all about pushing us onto another one of their products which I didn't need until they did this.
