I am using the free version of Outlook.com and followed the forums and help how to set up a GMail sync to Outlook.com.

However since two days I got this clicking on the "Sync Email" menu.

Even the X button on the upper right corner does not operates when being in this menu.

I tried this menu in browsers like Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera.

All the same results.

Questions:

  1. can I use Gmail sync using free version of Outlook.com?
  2. do you know this

    Hi,

Same issue here in Dutch and English. I've a free outlook.com account (I came from Gmail to Outlook, cause I liked it, but now), accounts created before disabling function by Microsoft still work (as in mail arrives), but sync email for those old account configured are not showing anymore and I've to change one now, no idea why this should even be disabled, so I will go to Gmail again, pffff. If now for a month no answer, I think free accounts are just nobody to Microsoft. In my case it also makes my choice even easier to also move from Windows to ChromeOS

Same problem here for past month. Unable to load settings in Sync Email. Godaddy custom domain name with 365 family subscription. Concerned that 365 family just isn't a focus for Microsoft and is not really a product that is ready for production (doesn't support DKIM for custom domains, Sync Email settings stop working....) - not a comforting experience when you rely on the service for your email......

Any info on when this bug is targeted for fix Microsoft?

Exactly, I googled the error and it has been around for years. Always the same response too. “Check different engines ie chrome and Edge. Or “it’s a server issue” Neither response helps me lol

How has this issue been around for so long and we still don't have a solution?

Is there any update or ongoing support Case/Ticket? It's been over a month now.

I am having the same exact problem. The settings cannot be displayed. Tried using Chrome and Edge. None of the browsers make a difference. It seems to be a server issue.
