Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Daar ben ik het mee eens, Joop

I have Outlook 2016 on my home computer. Within the last few weeks, on reopening Outlook, I have received the message "Outlook closed while you had items open . Reopen these items from your last session ?".
I have tried to remove this function via File; Options; General; Start up options, but my Start up options title does not have a drop down menu !
I have opened and reopened the Options menu, but to no avail. Nor is there an option to press on the heading "Start up options" which is located between Privacy Settings and Attachment options
I'm sure that I must have closed Outlook in the past without closing all items, but this message has only begun appearing within the last week.
Is there a fix?

Oh well - sorry all - the darn pop-ups back, the update Version 2307 (Build 16626.20170 Click-to-Run) did not do the trick, thus no fix therein for pop-up "Outlook closed while you had items open. Reopen these those items from your last session YES/NO"
Therefore have gone back to using the workaround by unticking the 'Store my Outlook Settings to Cloud' box and no pop-up.
Likewise of course no options still under > Start Up Options.
The bug continues it would appear until M/soft release a fix!!!
Cheers All
Hi Joop and All,
Note tonight I clicked on 'update' in Outlook 2016 - update took place and now have Version 2307 (Build 16626.20170 Click-to-Run).
It was Version 2307 (Build 16626.20134 Click-to-Run).
Then;
Will advise if the Pop Up mentioned re 1) above and mentioned in thread occurs again. So far it hasn't. If it does I will revert to the work around by unticking the box 'settings to cloud' option.
Dare we hold our breath and believe at least & at last a fix for the pop-up was in this update?
Cheers
